Germany We established KARMA medizinische Produkte GmbH in Germany, mainly putting
our focus on the country’s excellent geographical location, which is at the center of
Europe, and its well-developed medical and industrial sectors. These advantages allow
Karma to gather the most advanced, professional and market-based product
information and R&D technologies to stay ahead and to lead the world.
England We established KARMA Mobility Co., LTD in England because of the country’s well-
rounded quality inspection system, regulations and high level human resources. We
closely monitor the development trends of the European and American markets to
develop products with superior quality, comprehensive functions, and great market
potential to better serve our global customers.
China We established Karma Medical Products (Shanghai) 「上海杰开扬医疗器械有限公司」，in China and set up an office in Beijing, targeting China’s rising demand for high- technology-based products. While this enhances our capability to export medical supplies to the world, it also fulfills the needs of Chinese users for top quality medical products and mobility aids.
Taiwan KARMA Medical Products headquarters was established in Taiwan. To meet growing
global demand, Karma has expanded its capacity several times in the past few years
to a spacious 10,000 square meter modern facility. We have focused our efforts on
understanding the wheelchair market, developing products to meet the needs of
different segments, and strengthening both 「KARMA」 and 「SOMA」brands to build
and sustain our role as the leader in the manual and powered wheelchair industries in
Taiwan.
Thailand We founded SOMA MEDICAL PRODUCTS CO., LTD. in Thailand to expand our
capacity. Supported by a team of 200 dedicated staff, SOMA has reached a
monthly production of 8,000 manual and electric wheelchairs. Because of
Thailand’s cost advantage, SOMA operation has enabled KARMA to offer a
complete range of mobility products for our customers around the world.
India KARMA HEALTHCARE LTD. was established in India to supply mobility
products to one of the largest emerging economies with great market
potentials. In an effort to implement localized marketing strategies to better
serve target customers, Karma Healthcare India has also become KARMA’s
fourth production base.
