Unfolding

Pull up the backrest by
holding and pressing the handlebar lever.
(KM-8520)

With hands facing in, slowly
press seat downwards.

Swing the footrest to the forward facing position.
Make sure that the spring latch is engaged, then rotate the footplates down.

Release lock and detach footrest.

Lower adjustable backrest (instructions do not apply to KM-8000).

FLIP BACK:
With the index finger push the spring lever, take hold of the armrest, pull up and  flip back.

FLIP DOWN:
Rotate the armrest into position, ensure that the locking pin has engaged correctly at the front mounting base.

Holding the rear wheel with your fingers, press and hold  the quick-release button and detach the wheel.
To attach, insert carefully and ensure the two retractable ball bearings have passed clear of the hub.

With one hand release the spring lever, with the other hand hold the pad and detach.

Use the tool provided to loosen the head of the bolt found at the very bottom of the footrest arm. Then tap the nut from underneath to ease movement. Finally adjust it to the required height and tighten.

Use the tools provided to loosen the screw to adjust height.
