Reusable lunchboxes

Sustainability Starts with a Lunchbox

Cutting waste in manufacturing does not stop at the factory floor. Over the past 37 years, the KARMA team has collectively prevented more than 30 tons of waste simply by changing a small daily habit.

Every new KARMA employee receives a personal reusable lunch box on their first day. It is brought to work, filled with a delicious meal, and taken home to be cleaned for the next day. With 200 employees over 37 years, these lunch boxes have replaced over 1.5 million disposable containers.

A small company policy can create a big impact— especially over time.

Sustainable Packaging in Green Production

Carton boxes are an inevitable by-product of production, logistics, and raw material packaging. As part of our sustainability initiative, we are transforming this waste into bio-friendly packaging to replace plastic material. Since we introduced paper packing for spare parts shipment in 2024, we have reduced PET composite films by 2,016 square meters—that’s about 5 basketball fields!

This shift is part of our Go Green initiative, guiding KARMA Group into its fourth decade with a strong focus on sustainability. After three decades of prioritizing Quality, Brand, and Style, Go Green will lead us in reducing environmental impact by minimizing production waste and cutting plastic packaging. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue working toward a greener future!

Solar power in production

KARMA China factory is now 100% powered by solar energy

Each year, our KARMA China factory produces over 70,000 wheelchairs. By switching to 100% solar power, we’ve reduced carbon emissions by 36%—an essential step in our commitment to sustainable manufacturing.

This shift is part of our Go Green initiative, which guides KARMA Group into our fourth decade with a focus on sustainability. Following the strategy of Quality, Brand, and Style in our first three decades, Go Green will lead us to reduce environmental impact by limiting production waste and cut plastic packaging.

Stay tuned for more updates as we work towards a greener future!

Spreading Our Impact, Sharing Our Experience

KARMA’s long-term goal is simple: to share what works. We aim to amplify our sustainability practices and collaborate with like-minded companies. Because we believe a good company doesn’t act alone — it inspires, connects, and creates a ripple of positive change for all.
